
General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Article 1 – Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all sales of tickets to events organized or supported by the APPEL association (Association for the Promotion of the École de Légèreté). APPEL is an association under French law (law of July 1, 1901) with its registered office in France.
By purchasing a ticket, the buyer accepts these GTC in full.
Article 2 – Tickets and events
The tickets sold give access to the events specified at the time of ordering. Each Ticket is personal, non-refundable (except in the cases mentioned in Article 6) and may not be resold without the written authorization of the Association.
The Association reserves the right to change the program, date or venue if this occurs for reasons beyond its control.
Article 3 – Ordering
Tickets are sold exclusively online via our website or via partner platforms. Once payment has been completed, the order will be confirmed by email.
Article 4 – Payment methods
Payment for tickets is made exclusively via the secure platform PayPal. The following payment methods are accepted:
- PayPal account
- Credit card (via PayPal)
- SEPA direct debit (via PayPal)
The order is not considered binding until payment has been successfully processed.
Article 5 – Right of withdrawal and cancellation
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, there is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of tickets for dated events.
If the event is canceled by the association, a full or partial refund may be made. No refund will be made if the purchaser cancels, except in proven cases of force majeure.
Article 6 – Liability
The association is not liable for any damage or loss caused by misuse or fraudulent use of the ticket. In the event of force majeure or events beyond the Association’s control, the Association accepts no liability for the cancellation or postponement of the event.
Article 7 – Data protection
The personal data collected as part of the order will be used to process the sale and to organize the events. The processing is carried out in accordance with the applicable data protection regulation (GDPR). The buyer has the right to information, correction and deletion of his personal data on request.
Article 8 – Copyright
All content made available or shown as part of the events – including but not limited to lectures, texts, concepts, audiovisual content, teaching materials and presentations – are subject to the copyright and intellectual property rights of their respective authors.
Any reproduction, distribution, publication or other use of this content without the express written permission of the copyright holder is prohibited. Violations may result in legal action.
Article 9 – Images and photographs
Photographs and video recordings may be made by the association or by authorized third parties during events. These recordings may be used for the purposes of public relations, documentation and communication by the association (e.g. website, newsletter, social media).
By entering the event rooms, participants agree in principle to the taking and publication of photographs in which they may appear. If a participant does not wish to be photographed or published, this must be expressly communicated to the organizer on site in good time.
All rights to the photographs taken during the event belong to the association or the commissioned photographer. Commercial use by third parties is prohibited without prior consent.
Article 10 – Applicable law and dispute resolution
These GTC are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. If this is not possible, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
